The current courses offered in the department are B. Ed (Arts), B. Ed (Science), Diploma in Education (Dip. Ed) and Diploma in Religious Studies (DRS). Certificate courses include Basic and Advanced English and Kiswahili language courses that help students to improve their proficiency in English and Kiswahili, academic studies, everyday communication and to develop professionally.
The main goal of the Education programmes is to train professional teachers who have the requisite knowledge, skills and values to teach in secondary schools and colleges, and who will transform their society through Christian principles.
